Terms of Use

the Chamber of Reflection · effective September 18, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Sudhir Vasudevan ("we") for using the Chamber of Reflection app (the "Chamber"). By using the Chamber you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. Your words are yours

Everything you write, record, capture or save in the Chamber belongs to you. We don't own it, we don't get a license to it, and because it stays on your device (see the Privacy Policy) we never see it.

We don't read, review, approve or endorse anything you write, including the things you say you want. What you write and what you choose to do about it are your own responsibility. The Chamber is a place to write. It gives no advice and makes no decisions for you.

2. Not a substitute for care

The Chamber is not therapy, medical care or a crisis service, and it doesn't monitor what you write. If you are thinking about hurting yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services. In the United States you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time.

4. Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Chamber on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except as the law allows.

5. Keeping your chamber safe

Your chamber lives on your device. We don't keep a copy, so we can't restore it if your device is lost, reset, or the app is deleted. Keeping your device and its backups safe is up to you.

6. Changes to the app and these terms

The Chamber will change as it grows. We may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms, we will update the date above. Continuing to use the Chamber after a change means you accept the new terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Chamber is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Chamber. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Chamber in the twelve months before the claim.

Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

9. Ending

You can stop using the Chamber at any time by deleting it and cancelling your subscription. These terms end automatically if you break them. Sections 1, 7, 8 and 11 survive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of the place you live requires otherwise.
